Meet Our Mobilizers

Wheaton College // Wheaton, IL


Anna is a sophomore at Wheaton College, where she is pursuing a B.A. in international relations and music. She hopes to ultimately work at the intersection of those two passions in the area of international arts education development. In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking 14ers, rock climbing, and reading.

Taylor University // Upland, IN


Carissa is an international studies major with a concentration in cross-cultural ministries and the Middle East. She most recently had the opportunity to work with Muslim and Christian communities while studying in Amman, Jordan and is excited to bring those experiences to her fellowship with Neighborly Faith.

New York University // NYC


Joshua is a first-year medical student at NYU's School of Medicine. He is eager to explore better ways to serve people from various religious backgrounds on his campus and through the local church. He hopes to eventually teach medicine and be a Christ-like neighbor in low-resource settings.

Messiah College // Mechanicsburg, PA


Lydia is an International Student from Ethiopia at Messiah College majoring in Peace and Conflicts Studies and minoring in business administration. She is passionate about reconciliation and strives to build bridges between different communities and start discussions to broaden views of “the other.”

Fresno Pacific University // Fresno, CA


Sam is majoring in intercultural studies and minoring in religious studies. She actively works with the the Syrian refugee community in Fresno, and leads a student ministry team in an after school program working with Syrian children. She hopes to work with refugees in the Middle East and become a development and aid worker.

Moody Bible Institute // Chicago, IL


Amar was born in New Delhi, India and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He is currently completing a double major in Biblical studies and theology. Amar enjoys reading, traveling with his wife Emīlija, watching documentaries, and cheering for the Green Bay Packers. 

Messiah College // Mechanicsburg, PA


Growing up as a the youngest child of two missionaries in Budapest, Hungary instilled in Jordan a deep love and respect for the beauty of different cultures and perspectives. Jordan is a pre-med student studying biochemistry and mathematics. His favorite past-times include fitness, reading, and playing guitar.

Nyack College // NYC


Laura is an international student at Nyack College and Alliance Theological Seminary. She was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia and moved to NYC in 2018 to pursue an MA in intercultural studies. Laura loves to learn, to have new experiences, and to work with people from different cultures.

Trinity International Divinity School // Illinois


Matthew is pursuing a graduate degree in intercultural studies and theology at Trinity, after six years of ministry on US college campuses and six years overseas in Bosnia-Hercegovina. Matthew has been married to his wife Erin for seven years and has two children, Everett and Emina.

Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary // Raleigh, NC


Cody grew up in the heart of North Carolina, in a small, patriotic town where “Christianity” often carried cultural ideas foreign to Jesus’ own example. At his first year in college, Cody began to learn about Islam and make Muslim friends. After returning from an international mission trip, he began building relationships with Muslims in his community while continuing to pursue an undergraduate degree at an SBC college. He now lives in Wake Forest, NC, with his wife, Aly.


Shadi is a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution in the Project on U.S. Relations with the Islamic World in the Center for Middle East Policy. 


Micah serves as Senior Pastor at Brainerd Baptist Church. Prior to serving at Brainerd, he was the Vice President of LifeWay Research. He served as a Senior Pastor in Missouri and an international church planter in Burkina Faso, West Africa.


Bob Roberts Jr. is Senior Pastor at Northwood Church in Keller, TX and Founder of Glocal, an organization dedicated to helping faith leaders engage their city and the world in the public square.


Matthew is Assistant Professor of Christian Ethics at Fuller Seminary, associate dean for Fuller Texas, and a scholar-in-residence for the Max De Pree Center for Christian Leadership.


Bethany L. Jenkins is Vice President of Forums at The Veritas Forum, a contributor at The Gospel Coalition, and a Senior Fellow at The King's College. Prior to working with faith-based non-profits, Bethany worked in Congress, at the State Department, on Wall Street, and in Big Law.
